We are so excited to officially introduce you all to our new home line, S. Flynn Home, coming September 2020! Starting our own online store has been a dream of mine for many years and to finally be at the point of launching is both emotional and thrilling. We have been thoughtfully choosing, using, and living with these products, so that we know you will be going home with quality pieces.
S. Flynn Home flows out of the design firm, supplying all of the goods that we use to style a client’s home at the end of a project. You may not have known this, but we completely style and photoshoot each project that we do and then give the owner(s) the opportunity to purchase the items used. However, when we go to purchase these items wholesale, there are order minimums that we have to meet and because of this, we end up with multiple quantities of each item. In the past, we have simply held on to these items for future styling, but opening the store means that we will be able to sell the extra quantities. When we do a project reveal, if you see something you love, you will now be able to purchase it! We are staying conservative, though, so our inventory is tight. If you see a product that you want, don’t wait for it to go on sale because things may sell out quickly. As we grow, we hope to accommodate larger inventory amounts, but in the spirit of openness and honesty, our starting point is just going to be smaller.
In starting S. Flynn Home, the phrase ‘elevate the everyday’ has been constantly on my heart and has become the overarching theme for the line. Our hope is that our products can take simple, everyday moments and elevate them: serving a family recipe with our gold servingware, reading to your daughter wrapped up in one of our cozy throws, pouring a glass of garden tea using our Seagrass Pitcher and Glasses. I love to imagine that adding a special new item from our home line will carry over into the home itself, leading to intentional conversations and interactions in our customers’ spaces.
